The classic crumbly fruity flavoured rock. We purchase ours from Ross's of Edinburgh who, unlike other brands, still include ginger pieces in the mix.
Edinburgh rock was first reported created by 'Sweetie Sandy' -Alexander Ferguson, in the early 19th Century. Originally of Doune, trained in confectionery in Glasgow, he moved to Edinburgh to trade in his own name and create this very popular Scottish favourite.
