Traditional Treacle Toffee, or Bonfire Toffee as it is also know is a hard set toffee that dates back to the 17th Century. A rich treacle flavour is balanced with a limited amount of vinegar in this old fashioned recipe - totally moreish.
Our treacle toffee is set in trays after being hand poured, then broken up with a grood whack of the hammer- therefore it will often vary in thickness.
All handmade Star Rock products should be treated as fresh goods with a short shelf life, and kept in a cool dry position. Once opened, keep cool or in the fridge and eat within 7 days of opening.
