Liquorice rounds, chewy and softer than some other liquorice sweets.
These distinctive 2cm printed discs were originally created in Pontefract, Yorkshire - hence the name. Liquorice being produced in the area dates back in records to the 17th Century, gaining popularity for not only its sweet taste but reported medicinal properties.
Ingredients; Treacle, glucose syrup, maize starch, invert sugar syrup, WHEAT flour (WHEAT flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin), liquorice extract, modified potato starch, vegetable oils (palm, sunflower, coconut), flavouring, glazing agent (carnauba wax).
